We are independent and so are our opinions. Freedom from conflict of interest allows us to think independently and our opinions and advice are therefore unbiased. We don’t receive kickbacks or commissions from buyers. Our income is derived entirely from subscriptions, advisory income and agency (grain sale) fees paid by grower members. Our independence demonstrates where our responsibility lies – 100% with Market Check members.
Grain Agent versus Grain Broker
We are a completely independent agent acting on behalf of grower members. Unlike grain brokers we are independent and not affiliated with, nor do we receive brokerage from, any buyers of grain. As an agent we are focused on acting for and on behalf of our members, as opposed to brokers who are transaction/brokerage focused. Our income is derived entirely from agency fees payable by the seller. These fees are calculated as a flat percentage of grain value.
